Botanical Gardens is such a beautiful place any day of the year, but during the Holiday Season they add extra beauty to it by having a Holiday Train show. The train show is not your traditional Christmas scenes with snow capped frozen lakes with figures ice skating and drinking hot chocolate around a Christmas tree. Rather, it is a beautiful display of some of the oldest and newest landmarks in New York City. The model homes and buildings are some of the most beautiful recreations I've ever seen. Stunning is a good word for it.
The Train Show takes about 45 minutes to go through and of course then after that you are free to rome around the entire garden. I love it there. There are plenty of things to do with the kids if you want to go. There is a Ginerbread House where they can make cookies and do crafts while you wait for your time slot to see the Train Show. It's a really nice day out if you're looking for something a bit different to do. Happy Holidays Everyone.. Enjoy the pictures I took.
